Born and raised in Siberia, Russia, Katya A Williams came to the US as an exchange student at the age of 21. And that is exactly when she discovered a new sound and became inspired by the fusion of new cultures.

     As a child, Katya attended music school and graduated with honors at 15 playing classical piano.

     As a teen, she participated in children's song-writing competitions and got recognized for her composing skills. She also entered several adult music contests, where she played piano and sang her own songs in Russian and in English.

     America changed her outlook on music and helped to diversify her style of playing and composing. Besides Pop, she took interest in Smooth Jazz, Latin Jazz, Blues, Electronic Music, R&B, and Hip-Hop, as she believes that when your heart goes with the beat- it makes it easier to go through life.

     Lights of Las Vegas brought a new light into Katya’s life, when she became a lounge piano player and singer. Having learnt many song from different eras, she gained success in live entertainment in Vegas lounges and hotels.

     However,  moving to Hawaii brought even more joy and inspiration into her world of creativity. While in Maui, she produced many original songs, also entertained thousands of tourists and locals in hotels, restaurants, bars, and senior communities. 

     Later, her heart led her to the Pacific Northwest, where she is still living now and where she decided to pursue higher education and career change, while producing original music and playing at local venues.

     Katya is constantly working on reinventing herself and her craft, and never lets boredom and spiritual emptiness into her life.
